Detailed Itinerary

  1. Day 1:To Kibale National Park
  2. Early morning after breakfast at 0630hrs we will head to Kibaale national park for Chimpanzee trekking via Mubende- Fort-portal route. As you drive through the countryside, enjoy the remarkable landscapes, traditional homes and catch glimpses of the different striking bird species. Have a stopover for lunch in Fort-portal town – the tourism capital of Uganda because of the beautiful landscapes and attractions. You will arrive at your lodging for the night in the Crater lakes region.

    Driving time: 6,5hrs

    Day 1 and 2

  3. Day 2:Chimpanzee tracking
  4. Early morning after breakfast at 0800hrs we will head for the Chimp tracking, we will have a briefing at the starting point at exactly 0700hrs. After briefing, registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek. You will then be allocated a ranger guide who will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, how they feed, play and rest. In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi village. You have opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco, a great interest to birders. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you to the Coffee experience etc.

  5. Day 3:To Queen Elizabeth NP
  6. Early morning departure for Queen Elizabeth NP. Via Fort Portal we reach at around midday The Bush Lodge Lodge in Queen Elizabeth NP with a stunningly beautiful view over Kazinga Channel. On the program is a two hours launch trip on the Kazinga channel where we will see many animals from the waterside.

  7. Day 4:Kampala/Entebbe
  8. Early morning after breakfast at 0730hrs we will head for a 2 hr boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi to visit the Batwa Community. The last part of the journey will see us head back to Entebbe, we will have lunch along the way then continue with the journey.
